Calpe is an ideal location for lovers of water sports thanks to the climate that allows for leisure activities throughout the year. The magnificent seas of the Mediterranean are perfect for all sorts of sailing activities: catamarans, windsurfing, canoeing, etc.

For beginners it is an unforgettable experience to be able to relax whilst sailing in and around the coves that are dotted along the coastline. More experienced sailors will be able to take advantage of the winds and the more rugged parts of the Calpe’s coast.

Calpe has hosted International sporting events such as the Match race, the Volvo Ocean Race, the 11th Female International Criterium, in which professionals from all around the world have taken part.

Calpe’s Yacht Club has all the equipment necessary to take part in sailing activities in the waters of the Costa Blanca. We can help you get in touch with members of staff of the Yacht Club who will be able to help you to prepare for any activities you may be interested in.

There are also facilities and numerous sailing clubs located at some of the nearby coves where you can also participate in a wide range of activities, from regattas on board professional vessels to underwater activities or exclusive events at sea. Witness incredible sunsets whilst admiring the crystal clear waters  of our coast with the Rock of Ifach and the whole of the Costa Blanca as a backdrop.
